NCA: The Instagram Story

NCA All-Star Nationals is the largest All Star Cheerleading competition in the world.

This year over 20,000 cheerleaders from across the United States and six other countries gathered in Dallas to compete for a title.

With all the buzz around this event, Instagram wanted to find out what makes it so special. We’re not talking about just anyone’s insta—we mean the real deal: @instagram! They wanted the inside scoop on what drives these athletes to compete. Instagram certainly captured the essence of All Star Cheer in their Instagram Story that was viewed by millions of people.

In addition to the story, they also posted a video that to date has over 11.4 million views. Almost 22,000 comments later, instagram shined a light on the world of cheerleading by encompassing the real emotion leading up to that 2 ½ minute routine.
