WILDCATS Cheer Pride Works For First U.S. Finals Win

The program from WILDCATS Cheer Pride is no stranger to the U.S. Finals, but after taking a few years off, they’re ready to head back to Chicago this weekend and put on a show.

In the past WILDCATS have had success at the U.S. Finals events, consistently placing in the top four. Their mission this weekend is to take home their first title.

The Michigan gym’s D2 Youth Level 1 team, Jags will be attending the U.S. Finals: Chicago with a Gold Paid Bid.

“We have always only taken Gold Paid Bid teams to the U.S. Finals so it is a huge accomplishment to attend. This year, the Jags also received a Wildcard bid to the D2 Summit so this is their last chance to rock the stage, win a title, and gain the confidence they need going into the single largest D2 division ever for Wildcards.”

The Jags have been working to maximize the scoresheet by adding difficulty and numbers to their tumbling sections. 

“Jags' strength is in full team skills with squad running and standing tumbling,” explained WILDCATS Coach Kali Lynn. “All 15 athletes compete front and back walkovers.”

To go with the Jags excellent tumbling, the young team has incorporated a fun Genie theme into their routine that is sure to make them stand out. They went all out using their music, voiceovers, uniforms, and choreography to sell the theme.
