Jasmine Moore is making the all star cheerleading community proud after earning a spot to represent Team USA with her incredible 46 feet, 5.25 inch triple jump in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

As a former member of the 2016 Spirit of Texas A-Team, who won both NCA and Worlds, Jasmine was a dynamic asset to the team with her athleticism and strength. Her determination, discipline, hard work, and athletic abilities carried over from all star cheerleading to her high school athletic teams as she was a valuable member of both the Lake Ridge High School track and cheerleading programs.

But a spot in the 2020 Olympic Games is by far the greatest athletic accomplishment to date for 20-year old Jasmine Moore. Throughout the pandemic, when her qualifying dreams were temporarily put on hold, Jasmine powered through and trained even harder. She balanced friendships, schoolwork, and even a marketing internship all while training at the highest level of her sport.

“This made it all worth it — the tears, the hurt, the bad, the good — for this moment right here,” Moore said in an interview with the Dallas Morning News. “Just thankful.”

Jasmine will compete in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan which have been scheduled to begin on Friday, July 23, 2021 and run until Sunday, August 8, 2021. A year of waiting, training, and anticipation has led to these Olympic games and we could not be more proud of Jasmine Moore for reaching her goals and representing Team USA.

Your all star cheerleading family will be cheering you on the whole way, Jasmine!
