Up next is the 2018 Overall Level Legacy Champion for level 2! Baxleigh Casanova is from Louisiana Spirit where she has been cheering since she was 5 years old.

Baxleigh was on an exhibition team her first year with Louisiana Spirit and the following year went straight to level 2. That same year her team went to the Summit! Baxleigh received the “Rookie of the Year” award from Louisiana Spirit and was also named Miss Mini Louisiana Perfect Cheerleader.

What is your favorite tumbling pass?

“I’m currently working on level 5 skills and perfecting level 4 at the age of 8 but my favorite skill is punch front round off back handspring back tuck. For level 2, it is Back Handspring step out/together – Back Extension Roll step out/together – Back Handspring."

Baxleigh’s favorite subject in school is math and she loves to make slime!
