You might be an NCA All-Star pro, Walkin' around in your uniform and bow. But here are eight things you probably don't know!

1. NCA All-Star Nationals is the largest all star cheerleading and dance competition in the world.

2. NCA Nationals is the longest running National Championship in the all star cheerleading world.

3. It is also the largest event held in the city of Dallas. There are 1320 teams this year making it the largest NCA All-Star Nationals in history! 

4. The lights used in the Arena for NCA All-Star 2017 have only been used twice before. During Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime performance and at the 2017 Grammys.

5. In 2017, all five competition venues received a high-tech makeover. Including a larger video board with the backdrop that highlighted the team names to create a more interactive fan experience.

6. The competition is held in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Senator Hutchinson was a cheerleader at the University of Texas 1963-64.

7. 2018 was the first time NCA All-Star, athletes can compete in the Battle In The Arena!

Battle in the Arena in Dallas, Texas, the most selective All Star tumbling competition of its kind, to be held in conjunction with NCA All-Star Nationals.

8. In the warmup room, instead of multiple clocks for the floors, one big clock counts down the time for all the teams. When there are only ten seconds left, the entire room joins in on a countdown.
