In the early 2000s, competitions began to include teams and athletes with disabilities. The CheerABILITIES division was created and instantly became a fan-favorite as the division celebrates differences and inspires a brighter future of global acceptance, understanding, and unity.

This weekend at the 2021 Spirit Celebration Dallas Grand Nationals DI/DII, two incredible teams will be performing in the CheerABILITES divisions and they are ready to put on a show.

Varsity All Star encourages inclusion and growth for all and what better way to serve these athletes than putting them into their own distinct divisions. This way every athlete has the ability to reach their full potential!

The first of the three CheerABILITIES divisions is known as Exhibition. The Exhibition division allows helpers on the floor to assist with choreography, skills, and spotting. The second division is Novice. In this division, teams will earn a rating: Outstanding, Excellent, or Superior. Lastly, in the Elite Division, teams will receive a typical ranking system like all other competitive ELITE divisions, using the USASF CheerABILITIES scoresheets.

Fossil Ridge High School – Keller ISD Sparkle will be performing in the Exhibition division and Cheer Athletics Plano – SuperKatz will perform in the Novice division!
