Woodbridge Competes To Defend NCA Title!

Woodbridge High School made their debut at NCA High School Nationals in 2016, but made a name for themselves in 2017 earning the Small Intermediate Performance Game Day division title in their second year competing!

“The Barrons are looking to defend that title in 2018, bringing strong stunt technique to the table,” head coach Kristina Gulics told us the week of the championship. “We work very hard each year to not only learn new skills but to perfect the ones we know. We strive to execute all skills with perfection."

"While all scores are important, we take specific pride in our execution and technique scores."

Not only are the Barrons known for their stunt technique, but they’re also popular for their themed routines and signature style. Each year their routine has a very obvious theme, which is complimented by custom bows. The theme this year is Surfs Up! Their creativity is something that always sets them apart from their competitions.

Kristina Gulics and Mary Roderick have been coaching together for four years, utilizing each other's strengths and weaknesses to create a formula perfect for for the team!

We're excited to see what the team brings to the 2018 championship! Cheer them on LIVE on Varsity TV Saturday, January 27.
