TRYOUT INFORMATION

DANCE:

Tryout Dates: Tryouts are in April each year.

Tryout Requirements:

  • Timed mile run
  • Leaps (both directions), switch leap, and leap in second
  • Calypso
  • Double turns (both directions)
  • Triple Turn (strong direction)
  • Turns in second combination (one 8 count)
  • Toe touch
  • Performance of a choreographed Pom routine
  • Performance of a choreographed Hip Hop routine
  • Performance of a choreographed Contemporary routine
  • Interview

Competition Involvement: The dance team competes at the NCA & NDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Daytona, FL.
