The Sunshine State will be shining with dancers once again, because it’s time for the 2018 NDA High School National Championship! The routines are ready and now it’s time to add the costumes and makeup for the finishing touch. The championship will kick off March 2, and high schools from all over will dance all weekend long, bringing the competition to a close on March 4.

The Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida, will be packed with dance fans and some of the best teams in the country stating this Friday at 8:30 AM ET.

Be sure to catch these returning champions on the stage!

The Marionettes from Lake Mary, Florida, swept the competition in their home state last year as they went back-to-back with their incredible routine in the Large Varsity Kick division. They also competed in the Medium Varsity Team Performance division and were named national champions! Will they add another title to their collection this season?

The Smithtown Whisperettes made one long leap of a travel from New York last year at the competition, but the work was worth it. Smithtown High School West Varsity claimed back-to-back titles in the Small Varsity Kick division and they’re back to defend their title! Can they stay on top this year?

Sachem North High School also made the jump from Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, for a chance at a national title. The team is no stranger in the Small Varsity division as they brought home back-to-back Jazz and Team Performance titles in 2017. Can the powerhouse program continue to build their trophy collection in 2018?
