The All-Americans had the time of their lives in Rome, Italy for the New Years Day Parade! Just a few of the incredible places they were able to visit were the Coliseum, the Forum, the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, Florence, the Pantheon, the Piazza Venezia, the Spanish Steps and SO much more!

And did we mention the food! The athletes definitely got to experience all of the incredible dishes that Italy has to offer, and in their free time, of course, they go shopping, shopping and more shopping!

On Day 1, after the All-Americas arrived to the hotel from the airport, they went on a spontaneous tour of Piazza del Popolo to get a small taste of what their week in Rome would consist of. They enjoyed their first day with endless pizza and gelato!

On Day 2, the Varsity Blue group took on the Vatican while Varsity White explored the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and more of the city. The Vatican was more beautiful than they could have imagined, and it definitely left an everlasting impression on the All-Americans. The first full day in Rome was a success!

On Day 3, it was Varsity Blue’s turn to tour the city and Varsity White took a train ride to Florence for the day! In Florence, the All-Americans got to experiment with even more Italian food, shopped at some of the greatest leather markets in the country of Italy and of course, saw the statue of David! It was a super busy day for the athletes.

Day 4 was definitely exciting! Varsity Blue toured some of Rome’s most well-known ruins at the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. Seeing some of the world’s most impressive history in person was jaw-dropping for the All-Americans. It was a sight they won’t ever forget. Varsity White got to take their turn at the Vatican and they weren’t disappointed either!

Later that evening, the All-Americans gathered for the parade rehearsal. They practiced their parade routines before calling it a night!

On Day 5, Varsity White got to experience the breath-taking Coliseum and the Roman Forum, while Varsity Blue took their train ride to Florence, Italy for the day! This was the last full day of site-seeing for the All-Americans, and they definitely made every second count.

Day 6 was the day everyone had been waiting for… parade day! The All-Americans got some extra rest in the morning to help prepare them for the long day ahead. They loaded the bus after breakfast and off they went!

They arrived at Piazza del Popolo where they went their first day, which is also where the parade would be taking place. They reviewed their routines, walked through the performance locations and then took a quick lunch break!

When the parade started, the All-Americans had the time of their lives walking through the filled streets of Rome, Italy. One of the most amazing moments of the parade was seeing the Spanish Steps filled top to bottom!

The athletes finished off their parade route with one final routine in the square of the Piazza del Popolo. When the parade ended, the All-Americans loaded the bus and headed to their final dinner of the week in Rome, Italy!
