Scholarships Offered: Yes

Scholarship Details: All cheer, dance, and mascots will receive $500 for rookies and $1000 for returning veterans per academic year.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

CHEER:

Clinic & Tryout Dates: Clinics start in November and are held once a month until tryouts. Tryouts are held late April each year.

Tryout Requirements:

  • Tumbling – Minimum requirements are a standing tuck.
  • Stunting – Minimum requirement is a toss extension. 

All Girl Tryout Requirements:

  • Two man hands extension
  • Two man lib
  • Toss Extension
  • Toss Lib
  • Flyers two body positions with double down

Coed Tryout Requirements:

  • Toss extension or bump to extension
  • Toss lib or bump to lib
  • Elite stunt with two body positions and a double down

DANCE:

Clinic & Tryout Dates: Clinics are all throughout the Spring. Tryouts are held in June each year.

Tryout Requirements: 

  • Jumps: Turning disc, switch tilt, switch arabesque
  • Turns: Double pirouettes, triple pirouettes, a le seconde turn sequences
  • Leaps: Calypso, firebird, backward leap, russian

MASCOT:

Competition Involvement: Coed and All Girl squads compete at the NCA & NDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Daytona, FL.

This weekend, 10 outstanding all-star cheer teams made their mark by capturing the title of Triple Crown Champions. Earning this recognition requires teams to claim first place in their division at three premier national events: CHEERSPORT Nationals, the NCA All-Star National Championship, and the UCA All Star National Championship. Across each of these highly competitive stages, these teams proved their excellence with powerful performances, sharp execution, and consistency. Winning once at this level is an accomplishment — doing it three times across the season speaks to the talent of each program! Meet Your 2026 West Coast Cup Cheer & Dance Champions

The race for the 2026 West Coast Cup was back on this season for season 3 for cheer teams, plus season 2 of the West Coast Cup race for dance teams! The West Coast Cup is a prestigious honor following all star cheer & dance teams' journey at select West Coast events. To earn the honor of being named a West Coast Cup champion, cheer teams must be the highest scoring D1 or D2  team in their division at these three events: The American Grand - Grand Nationals in Las Vegas, NV, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA. On the dance side, teams must earn first place at the GSSA Grand Nationals in Bakersfield, CA, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Dance Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA.
