Scholarships Offered: Yes

Scholarship Details: All cheer, dance, and mascots will receive $500 for rookies and $1000 for returning veterans per academic year.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

CHEER:

Clinic & Tryout Dates: Clinics start in November and are held once a month until tryouts. Tryouts are held late April each year.

Tryout Requirements:

  • Tumbling – Minimum requirements are a standing tuck.
  • Stunting – Minimum requirement is a toss extension. 

All Girl Tryout Requirements:

  • Two man hands extension
  • Two man lib
  • Toss Extension
  • Toss Lib
  • Flyers two body positions with double down

Coed Tryout Requirements:

  • Toss extension or bump to extension
  • Toss lib or bump to lib
  • Elite stunt with two body positions and a double down

DANCE:

Clinic & Tryout Dates: Clinics are all throughout the Spring. Tryouts are held in June each year.

Tryout Requirements: 

  • Jumps: Turning disc, switch tilt, switch arabesque
  • Turns: Double pirouettes, triple pirouettes, a le seconde turn sequences
  • Leaps: Calypso, firebird, backward leap, russian

Competition Involvement: Coed and All Girl squads compete at the NCA & NDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Daytona, FL.
