Watch at 1:21 – the University of Cincinnati hip hop team lit up the stage with some serious sass and a light trick to remember on Day 1.

The team was performing a hard hitting hip hop number in the D1A division at the UDA College Championship, and pulled off an unexpected trick. Not only did they light up their feet, they changed the colors multiple times, and set them to blink for the finale. A few of the light swaps my not have been perfect in semis, but that only left room for an opportunity for flawless execution in finals.

Luckily, they had everyone in the Cincinnati Bearcats family cheering them on in today’s finals.

Their fun, unexpected routine paid off; they moved into finals in 4th with their sights set on success. They came back with a new strategy for their final performance today in HP Field House and it paid off!
