UNITY Brings UK Hip Hop Into Finals!

UNITY: That’s what the UK dance team signaled to fans as they finally debuted their 2018 UDA Nationals routine on stage in the new competition arena at Walt Disney World.

Fans had been anticipating the performance for months, as no videos had really given anything away heading into the competition. In 2018 the team took home second, but were a favorite to win heading into the championship.

They took the semifinals stage in sparkling black, embellished with long silver gloves. Before the music started it was clear the silver gloves were a strategic move — they already stood out.

Every arm movement sliced shiny shapes across the stage; lines, waves, and formations changed and flowed with the music. Hard-hitting, feminine, and powerful, their routine was incredibly fun to watch.
