What’s NEW in 2018!

• Spirit Prop Workshop—Your squad will learn how to create excitement and engage the crowd during a game with proper spiriting techniques! Don’t forget your poms, signs, megs and flags!
• Leadership Launch—The Leadership Training at camp has been expanded, pushing your cheerleaders to dig deep and develop their leadership skills! Each grade level will experience their own unique session specifically for their roles on the squad! Captains and co-captains will be invited to attend an additional leadership session just for them.
• First Time Coaches’ Meeting—Orientation meeting with rookie coaches to help answer any “first time to camp” questions.
• Senior Social—The seniors will learn more about cheering in college, life after cheerleading and meet others interested in attending the same college as them!
• Day Three Coaches’ Meeting – Powered by Spirit Works—The Day Three Coaches’ meeting is now Powered by Spirit Works with a focus on Spirit Raising and Pep Rally Planning!
• Sideline Stunts Class —The UCA staff will help teams work on utilizing stunts to entertain the crowd at games!
• Big Brother / Big Sister – Mission Accomplished—Your squad will have the opportunity to evaluate your progress to your camp goals with your Big Brother or Big Sister. This is the perfect time to select which elective class to attend or prepare for the Game Day or Rally Routine Championships!
• Space Jam Rally—Celebrate the 2018 UCA Camp Spirit Theme “Spirit Launch” at a fun and interactive “Space Jam” Rally! Increase pride and enthusiasm at your school by implementing the spirit theme from UCA each day throughout camp. You can take what you’ve learned at #UCAcamp straight to your school!
