  • National Championships Won: 23
  • Finish Last Year: 1st
  • Sports the Team Cheers for: football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball
  • Theme/Motto: Keep Climbing
  • Routine Highlights: Opening diamadovs, spin up to Swedish fall pyramid
  • Interesting Fact: Kentucky will represent the USA at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, participating in spirit raising events surrounding the games

 

DIA All Girl: University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK)

  • Coach: Miranda Noel
  • Mascot: Sooners
  • National Championships Won: 2018 – This was the Sooners’ first National Championship ever!
  • Finish Last Year: 6th
  • Sports the Team Cheers for: football, women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, men’s basketball, men’s gymnastics, wrestling, volleyball, soccer (110 games for the year)
  • Theme/Motto: Get Gritty; Raise Your Standards
  • Routine Highlights: Tumbling, extended hand in hands
  • Interesting Fact: The All Girl squad did not even compete three years ago!

 

Game Day Coed: University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH)

  • Coach: Tabby Fagan
  • Mascot: Bearcats
  • Sports the Team Cheers for: football, basketball
  • Routine Highlight: The fight song- very traditional and well known
  • Interesting Fact: Of the 30 team members, 21 had never competed at UCA College Nationals!

 

 

Game Day All Girl: University of Missippi (Oxford,MS)

  • Coach: Ryan Martin O’Connor
  • Mascot: Rebels
  • Sports the Team Cheers for: football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball
  • Theme/Motto: Make people watch
  • Routine Highlight: Defense sideline- “D-FINS” incorporates traditions from home stadium
  • Interesting Fact: This team is YOUNG- 7 first years competed and 14 second years competed
