TVCC Earns A Repeat Championship Title!

TVCC earns 2017 Championship title over Prelims top scoring team Navarro! TVCC athlete Jeremy Seiver gave us his initial thoughts after leaving the mat, trophy in hand.

It’s the best feeling in the world and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Final Ranking & Final Score:

1. Trinity Valley Community College 98.30
2. Navarro College 97.40
3. Garden City Community College 87.30

Prelims Coverage, Thursday, April 6th:
The rematch college cheer fans everywhere have been waiting for: TVCC vs. Navarro. These two teams have a longstanding history of top notch sportsmanship and support for each other while remaining fierce competitors.

After upsetting the 12-time Junior College NCA National Champs in 2016, TVCC is back to reclaim the 2017 title. OR will Navarro take the trophy home to Corsicana and add number 13 to their trophy case?

After two very strong performances in Prelims, both teams look to have the difficulty it takes to make their mark on the score sheets – it all comes down to hitting a picture-perfect routine. The Prelim rankings have been posted and Navarro is seated in front by 1.15 points ahead of TVCC. Both teams have room to move up in score, but will need to hit solid.

Navarro is the overall top scoring team of the Preliminary competition so far with a final of 97.62 – updates to come.

2. Trinity Valley Community College 96.47
3. Garden City Community College 84.50
