TOP Teams To Watch From Day 1 At UCA Bluegrass

During Day 1 of the 2018 UCA Bluegrass Championship, we got a glimpse of what we can expect from these teams throughout the season. The intensity was high, the teams were pumped and the crowd was on their feet!

EASTSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Small Junior High

It’s no surprise that Eastside dominated the Lexington Convention Center with their jaw-dropping routine. After hitting their first zero, the team is fired up for the rest of the season!

PRIDE ATHLETICS SENIOR CLUB

Youth Recreation

Pride Athletics had many teams represent their program on the mat and this particular team brought the energy during their routine and had the crowd on their feet!

STATION CAMP HIGH SCHOOL

Medium Varsity Game Day

Station Camp led the crowd with their high energized Game Day routine and had their fans yelling back with them! The team had incredible synchronization and great sign work while incorporating stunts to help lead the crowd.

BOONE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL 

Small Varsity D1

The Rebels from Boone County had a great variety of tumbling and outstanding pyramids. Look out for this team in the future!

DIXIE HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL 

Large Varsity

Dixie Heights had amazing stunts throughout their routine. The team showcased their squad flexibility in their jump section that led right into a solid ending pyramid!  

PULASKI COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL 

Medium Varsity

The team had the crowd ‘pullin for Pulaski’ in their incredibly high energized routine! Pulaski showed confidence throughout the entire two and a half minute routine on the mat. Look out for this team this season!

MCCRACKEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL 

Medium Varsity Coed

McCracken County incorporated many coed style stunts and had sky high baskets! These reigning national champions are well on their way to another title.
