The Ultimate Packing List for NCA Summer Camp!

Pack your bags, it’s time for NCA Summer Camp!

NCA Summer Camp is just around the corner and we can’t wait to see you there. Here are all the things that you will want to pack this summer!

Clothing

• Practice Wear: If your team has matching practice wear for camp, think through what you are wearing each day as you pack. Remember to include any bows or face tattoos that you might be wearing with each outfit!
• Uniform: Many teams choose to wear their uniform on the last day of camp for Final Day Competitions and All-American Tryouts. Communicate with your coach to see if this is something your team will do!
• Varsity Shoes: Camp is the perfect time to break in those new Varsity Spirit Shoes that you got this year!
• Socks, Sports Bras and Undergarments: It’s always a good idea to bring extra of these items. We recommend keeping an additional pair of socks in your backpack to change during breaks so that you feel fresh and ready for the next class!
• Fun Day Outfit: Fun Day is always a camp favorite! We can’t wait to see the creative outfits for the #StrongerTogether theme this summer. Need ideas? Check out What to Wear for Fun Day to get you started!

Camp Gear

• Game Day Props: You will want to bring your poms, megaphones, signs, flags and even your team mascot to really get the most out of our new Game Day Experience class. By practicing with the props you use at home, you will leave camp ready to lead your crowd.
• Post-It Notes: Our Team Time activity this summer will require your team to have Post-It notes on hand!
• St. Jude Addresses: Camp is not only the time to learn, it is also the time to give back! By coming to camp with 5 addresses of family, friends or local businesses, you will be able to send them a St. Jude Letter to help raise money to beat childhood cancer.
• Money for the Varsity Spirit Shop: Remember your NCA Summer Camp experience by bringing home a souvenir from the Varsity Spirit Shop!

Dorm Essentials

Are you staying in a university dorm for your camp experience? You will want to bring the following items!

• Fan
• Shower shoes
• Bedding
• Towels
• Decorations

The Little Things

Now that you have the big things packed up, remember to grab these essentials and toss them in your cheer bag!

• Hair ties
• Healthy snacks
• Water bottle
• Toiletries
• Sunscreen
• Phone charger

Most importantly, make sure that you pack a great attitude and a willingness to learn. NCA Summer Camp is the foundation for your season, so make the most of it and have fun!
