The Prestonwood Lions Are Ready To Roar Into Finals

It's Prestonwood Christian Academy's 17th year competing here at the NCA Senior & Junior High School National Championship and the Lions are prepared to hold on to their tradition of excellence as they head in to Finals.

Krista Godbee is the Cheer Director  of PCA and has been guiding the Lions to success time and time again.

When asking Godbee what her secret to this team's exemplary performances, she says, “Our style is very traditional NCA, clean, showy and entertaining to watch.” It's no surprise that those factors shine each time the Lions take the mat in Dallas. Their technical skills certainly contribute to their winning streak for the past three years at NCA High School Nationals.

PCA also excels in their use of innovative choreography. Their use of the entire floor in their formations highlights their skills in a way many others are working to achieve. The difficulty in their tumbling intertwines through their formations to make them a top contender in the Advanced Division.

PCA is known to bring clean and elite routines to this championship every year, but one thing they say truly powers them through these performers is their faith and how it is transcribed not only in their uniforms but also in their music. These ladies deliver a show every time they take the floor and  they hope that this year, their light shines as bright out on the mat, as it shines from within.

Prestonwood Christian Academy competes tonight in Finals at the 2018 NCA Senior & Junior High School National Championship, so make sure to tune in to the Varsity TV Livestream at 5:33 PM CT to see the Lions roar into Day 2!
