The MAJORS Senior Medium Preview: Generals VS. Peach

The MAJORS is a competition like no other! In January, the "best of the best" Level 6 teams will compete for the title of MAJORS Champion. Only 26 teams made the cut for 2022 with two Senior Medium All Girl teams, Woodlands Elite Generals and The Stingray Allstars Peach, competing for the crown.

Generals & Peach have some serious history and the two powerhouse teams went back and forth to claim championship titles all last season.

In 2021, Generals won The MAJORS after hitting zero and earning a 97.2. Peach had a higher raw score than Generals however, after suffering a one-point deduction, they took second place with a score of 96.5.

Generals went on to beat out Peach at the 2021 CHEERSPORT National Championship where they took a 1.1 point lead in their event score. Moving forward, the teams faced off again at the NCA All-Star Virtual National Championship and tied for first with a 98.1.

The teams met one final time in the 2021 season at The Cheerleading Worlds. After two amazing zero-deduction routines in Finals the competition was close but Peach delivered and took the 2021 L6 Senior Medium World Champion title.

Woodlands Elite Generals has taken the top spot at The MAJORS in 2021 and 2020. Will they go for a three-peat or will Peach find their end-of-season finesse early on to become champions of The MAJORS 2022? We can't wait to find out LIVE right here on Varsity TV!
