The Group Stunt Competition Is Underway At USA Spirit Nationals

The Group Stunt portion of the competition is underway this morning here in sunny Anaheim, California. Over 65 different groups will take the mat in Prelims in the hopes of hitting a flawless routine that will send them on to the next round of the competition.

There are two divisions teams can compete in this morning, Group Stunt Advanced and Group Stunt Intermediate. In Prelims, the two divisions were broken out into Groups A & B.

After the last group performs, the advancing Finalists will be announced. 

  • 6 Finalists from Group A and 6 Finalists from Group B will move on to Finals for Group Stunt Advanced. 
  • 5 Finalists from Group A and 5 Finalists from Group B will move on to Finals for Group Stunt Intermediate.

In 2017, Aloha High School won their first ever championship title in Group Stunt Advanced and Amador Valley took the top spot in Group Stunt Intermediate.

The competition is tough and these athletes are ready to give it their all to earn the first championship titles of the weekend. Tune in to Group Stunt Finals starting at 1 PM PT to cheer on your favorite Finalists at the 2018 USA Spirit Nationals!
