It’s been years in the making as this team has always been a top contender at the championship, but never found themselves in the top spot. Congratulations and well done Red Raiders!

Prelims Coverage, Thursday, April 6th:
When it was time for the much anticipated D1A Large Coed teams to take the mat in Prelims, everyone in the Ocean Center was on their feet!

Louisville, who just earned the division title back in 2016, was looking to hold on to the crown, while Oklahoma State University came hungry for a hit in hopes of taking back the title. Texas Tech also performed an incredibly difficult routine rivaling the defending champs and could be a top contender in Finals on Friday.

After each team’s performed the bar was set higher and higher, and the audience stayed to hear the live announcement of the scores…

OSU is heading into Finals ranked 1st with a 97.60, while Louisville is right behind them with a 96.90; both teams had zero deductions. Texas Tech earned a 95.70 with 1.0 in deductions (that’s just .20 difference between Tech and Louisville without the deduction).
