SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarships Offered: Yes

Cheer Scholarship Details: Cheer scholarships are based off of grades and skills. You must have a minimum of a 2.5 per semester in order to be eligible, scholarship amounts range from $800-1600/year.

Mascot Scholarship Details: Mascots are offered scholarships as well as all of their gear is provided including custom boots!

TRYOUT INFORMATION

CHEER:

Clinic & Tryout Dates: Clinics are once a month and are posted on social media pages ahead of time. Tryouts are the end of April each year.

Tryout Requirements:

Tumbling – Minimum of a standing back tuck, toe touch back tuck, standing two back handspring back tuck, and a running tumbling pass ending in a back tuck.

Large Coed Tryout Requirements:

Stunting – Minimum toss hands, full up stunt, toss target with body position and double down

Small Coed Tryout Requirements:

Stunting – Minimum toss liberty, full up stunt with body position and full down, and a stunt combo

Competition Involvement: Small and Large Coed squads compete at the NCA & NDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Daytona, FL.

Season 4 of the Varsity Cheer League is officially in the books! Teams have been hard at work all season long earning points at Varsity All Star events to work their way to the top of the leaderboard. Now, the final 300 points of the season are on the line THIS weekend at the Aloha York Showdown. The end of the regular season means it's almost time to celebrate our 2026 Varsity Cheer League champions! Here's all you need to know about how to tune in to watch the Varsity Cheer League Awards Show where all winners will be unveiled.
