Head coach Jayne Shalkowski believes that the first step to creating success this season is by unifying the team.

“The team is already off to a great start and [is] working as one,” she said.

She’s busy planning team bonding activities such as bowling and a BBQ, and she will even open her doors to the team for a team sleepover!

Bonding is the first step of being successful.

St. John Vianney is stepping up their game for the next season through new training tactics. In addition to team practices, they’ve added new weekly tumbling and strength and condition practices. Coach Shalkowski already sees a huge improvement from this new approach and thinks that it could help lead the team to a national championship title!

You can expect to see a nice, crisp, clean routine with some special skills in our performance in January at NCA High School Nationals!

In addition to putting in hard work on the mat, the team’s biggest goals for the season focus on keeping the program’s positive reputation and upholding long-lived traditions.
