San Angelo Central Tradition Shines At NCA Nationals

San Angelo Central High School took the mat at the 2018 NCA Senior & Junior High School National Championship for the 15th time! This Texas team knows exactly how to make a statement.

The pride of San Angelo is deeply rooted in tradition. The Bobcats "angry orange" cheer dates all the way back to the 1960s and has the crowd yelling loud year after year.

Clean, sharp motions are another trademark strength of the team. The athletes at SACHS take cleanliness to it's highest level. Every motion, every set, and every skill is hit to a maximum crisp and clean perfection.

Coach Matt Escue drills the "sharp and clean" technique into every piece of the routine at practices, and it turns out, the work was worth it.

Their striking execution stood out and earned the Bobcats top two placements in multiple competition categories in the Medium High School Game Day division, including timeout dance, fight song, and timeout cheer
