Sacred Heart Wins First Ever National Championship!

Sacred Heart University from Fairfield, Connecticut went into the final competition at the 2020 UCA College Cheerleading Championship with a goal to hit their routine. Not only did they hit their routine, but they came out on top and claimed their first ever national championship title!

The Division I All Girl competition has been dominated consistently by two power-house programs the past many of years, Morehead State University and the University of West Georgia. But this year, Sacred Heart University hit the cleanest routine in the division and came out on top!

The team never thought this goal was attainable, but they took the mat with determination and HEART, which led them to the top spot!
