The Summit 2022, the most prestigious cheer and dance championship for athletes in the non-Worlds divisions, is right around the corner. The best of the best teams from across the globe in Levels 1-6 will compete from April 28th through May 1st at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. 

What better way to prepare for the exciting weekend of competition than to look back at some of the top-scoring routines that ended in triumph last season. 

Check out these 10 must-see teams that made the climb all the way to the top and earned championship titles! Each of these spectacular teams topped their divisions and ended the championship with near-perfect scores at The Summit in 2021. 

The Summit 2021 Championships Results 

The Stingray Allstars – Marietta – Green

L6 Junior Coed – Large

The Stingrays Allstars Green put on a spectacular performance to secure the L6 Junior Coed Large championship title. Greens' extreme difficulty paired with flawless execution earned them a final score of 99.7. The team not only earned the highest score in all Level 6 divisions but also ended the weekend with the highest score of the entire championship alongside their sister team, The Stingrays Allstars Platinum, who also scored a 99.7. 

GymTyme Illinois – Twist

L5 Senior Coed – Small

GymTyme Illinois Twist twisted their stunts and tumbling with precision and ease to top the L5 Senior Coed Small division! Earning a 99.3 the team won The Summit and Grand Champions of all Level 5 teams. 

Rain Athletics – Electric 

L4.2 Senior – Small

This action-packed routine swept the L4.2 Senior Small competition earning a 99.1! Electric wowed the judges with their sharp stunts and kept the energy alive until the very last dance move to win it all!

The Stingray Allstars – Platinum

L4 Junior – Medium

Platinum brought the heat to Orlando taking the highest score in the championship! The big win in the L4 Junior Medium division was exceptional earning the top score of all Level 4 teams. Platinum finished the weekend with a final score of 99.7!

The California All Stars – Las Vegas – Blackjacks

L4 Senior Coed – Small

The California All Stars Blackjacks made their climb all the way to the top of The Summit winning gold in the Level 4 Senior Coed Small division. The team brought home The California All Stars Las Vegas location's seventh Summit win!

Florida Top Dog All Stars – Riptide

L3 Junior – Small

The competition in the Level 3 Junior Small division is one of the most competitive at The Summit. With so many impressive routines, coming out on top is a huge feat. Scoring a 99.1, Florida Top Dog All Stars Riptide shared the glory of sweet success and tied for first place with CheerVille Athletics Wicked!

CheerVille Athletics HV – Wicked

L3 Junior – Small

Also scoring a 99.1, CheerVille Athletics Wicked conquered the climb and tied for first place at The Summit in the Level 3 Junior Small division! 

Star Athletics – Junior Gold

L3 Junior – Medium 

Junior Gold from Star Athletics shook up the Level 3 competition in 2021. After previously taking second in 2018, the New Jersey team took home gold for the first time in 2021!

Pacific Coast Magic – Irvine – Scarlet

L3 Senior – Small

Pacific Coast Magic made their way all the way to Orlando, Florida, to secure the L3 Senior Small title! Not only did this team win their division, but their energy and passion in their routine also led the team to score a 99.2, the highest score across the Level 3 divisions!

The Stingray Allstars – Mango

L1 Junior – Medium

Level 1 Junior Medium is always one of the most creative divisions at The Summit and Mango took home first with a final score of 99! Mango started in the Wild Card round of the competition and went into Finals with the second-highest score in the division. Mango pulled together and put on a show to end the weekend as Summit Champions!
