Powerful Pom Performance From Los Alamitos

The dance team from Los Alamitos are true veterans at the UDA National Dance Team Championship; the program has been attending this competition since 1988 and throughout the years have taken multiple championship titles!

This team was extremely happy with their results in 2017 as they took home not one but two national championship titles. The California team is back to compete again in both Small Varsity Jazz and Pom divisions. With their greatest strength being their power and ability to stay sharp and clean throughout a routine, Los Alamitos was a must-watch team at the championship.

The reigning champs had the crowd going wild tonight after their Small Varsity Pom routine. Their energy filled the room and their power radiated throughout the HP Field House.

The term “family” goes beyond just the team's love for each other; this theme is also expressed in their music when it says “We Are Family!” The family bond doesn't stop once athletes graduate from Los Alamitos; the Griffins have their routines choreographed every year by a few of their alumni keeping the family tradition!

Tune in to Varsity TV tonight for awards to find out if Los Alamitos can take home back-to-back championship titles!
