The TTU coed team is ready to make their debut in the large coed division. Head coach Jordan Benedict said that the TTU program had so much growth over the last year that making this division change would help challenge the team and help the program grow in the future.

Tennessee Tech is ready to head into UCA College Nationals with a more difficult routine than they have ever competed with previously. The skills may have increased in difficulty, but the goal remains the same as always: to walk off the mat with a clean hit.

They began working on this routine in October, and have been striving for consistency and repetition.

"I feel confident going into a new division and nationals as a whole this year because I know my athletes are confident in their abilities and are capable of executing," Benedict said.

In addition to the increase in difficulty, another change that Tech made in their routine this year was to expand on the pyramid section. The Eagles are excited to perform their most transitional and visual pyramid this weekend on the competition mat.

Before they travel to Orlando, TTU will show off their routine at home for friends and family. They're eager to get out on the mat before giving it their all at the 2018 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship.
