#GoBeGreat – NDA Nashville Classic

Greatness is having a strong and genuine desire to add value to the lives of  those around you.

At certain NDA competitions, we have a tradition of presenting the Go Be Great Award to a coach, team, or program that has gone above and beyond to make the world a better place outside the world of dance.

Similar to our #GoBeGreat philosophy, Lewisburg Middle School Dance Team focuses on the #BeKind initiative. They hold several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money specifically for this cause. The girls volunteer for various acts of kindness throughout the year, in and out of school. Some of these acts include:

  • Passing out wristbands at school to promote no bullying.
  • Creating videos for the counseling department to use during Kindness Week.
  • Gifting funds to students and families in need within their community.
  • Hosting mini dance clinics at Camp BOLD each summer, for mentally and physically disabled kids.
  • Packing toiletry bags full of necessities, warm socks and mittens for the homeless around the holidays.

They all truly have hearts of gold, and those hearts shine through their service.

Thank you for all that you do to make a difference in your community, and inspiring others to #GoBeGreat!
