Watch Live Stream: NCA All-Star Nationals 2017
There was a Texas takeover at the NCA All-Star National Championship in the Medium Senior Level 5 Division last year when the Coed title was taken home by Woodlands Elite Black Ops and the All Girl Division was won by Spirit of Texas.

Black Ops won their first NCA national championship in 2016 and will be looking to repeat in Dallas this weekend. Medium Senior Coed has never been a division that has been consistently won by the same teams. The only back-to-back champions in this division were the Georgia All Stars in 2009 and 2010 and GymTyme All-Stars Platinum in 2012 and 2013. Other teams that have won this division in years past are Twist & Shout Obsession, Spirit of Texas (Dallas), ACE (Birmingham), Tribe Chiefs (Oklahoma City), and Cheer Athletics (Dallas).

Black Ops came out on top last year after performing a routine filled with elite team tumbling, difficult coed skills, and a partner stunt filled with spins! Watch the 2016 routine to relive the championship-winning performance below!

The Medium Senior All Girl title has gone back and forth every year since it’s existence. Defending 2016 champion Spirit of Texas and Stingray Peach have dominated this division and alternated winning every other year since 2013. The only other team to win this division was Cheer Athletics in 2012. Will the Spirit of Texas’ A-Team be the first team to ever win back-to-back titles?

The A-Team brought its A-game to NCA Nationals last year! Check out their 2016 routine to see an impressive number of standing fulls, a variety of body positions in their stunt sequence and a visual pyramid with creative transitions below!
