NC State & Lenoir-Rhyne Lead The Way In New Game Day Divisions

In 2018, NCA & NDA Collegiate National Cheer & Dance Championship introduced new divisions focused on highlighting what collegiate spirit programs do best—game day!

What makes a game day performance special? The emphasis is on traditional sideline elements—fight song, band chant, and crowd leading—three things teams perfect every weekend in their role as spirit leaders for their college or university.

Fourteen teams brought their unique sideline experience to Daytona Beach, Florida, and showcased deep-rooted traditions as well as every aspect of the spirit program. You'll see cheer, dance, mascots, flags, and even some drum lines on the mat in these high energy routines.

Who commanded the crowd in Daytona Beach on Day 1?
