Midwest Cheer Elite Has Their Claws Out For JAMfest!

JAMfest Super Nationals is only days away and Senior Level 5 teams are polishing up their routines before taking the mat in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an important weekend for many squads as 12 at-large and six paid bids to the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds will be up for grabs this weekend!

The Panthers of Midwest Cheer Elite have their claws out and are ready to take on the competition with the hopes of earning their bid at the championship.

Two teams from the West Chester, Ohio, gym will be traveling to Indy to fight for their ticket to the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds, and they can’t wait to show off their strengths!

Femme Feline will be competing in the Small Senior Level 5 division, while Diamond Katz is set to take on the International Open Coed Level 5 division for the first time.

“Femme has a fast-paced and sassy style routine. Their strength is their performance factor and fun choreography," gym owner Tanya Roesel said. "Diamond Katz has a strong coed style while their strengths are strong tumbling with impressive stunts and extremely high baskets.”

As Femme Feline takes the floor for their fourth year, they have a special addition to this year's music.

“Their pyramid music is a song made for them. It’s called ‘4ever Femme,’ because this is the fourth year for this team and it’s the strongest team to date.”

Femme Feline never disappoints when it comes to their dance, and Diamond Katz has a performance aspect that's scratching to get out of its cage.

“Femme’s opening is very eye catching and draws you in very quickly," Roesel said. "The dance is a crowd favorite! Our choreographer wrote our dance song specifically for us and the team definitely brings it to life!”

Much like Worlds, JAMfest Nationals has the best of the best taking the floor. Although the teams might not be fighting for a world championship just yet, the claws won’t be put away until their invitation to worlds is confirmed by a bid.

"I think JAMfest is the precursor to worlds. It allows us the opportunity to gage where we are as a team against those that we will see in a few short months at worlds."

"Plus the judges comments and feedback allow us to make important changes that are necessary for our success," Roesel added.
