Meet the Speakers at Varsity University 2020!

Varsity University All Star Conferences provide Gym Owners & Coaches the opportunity to further their education and learn directly from industry leaders. With 5 locations across the country and a diverse group of knowledgeable speakers, Varsity University is the perfect place to continue your education. First up in our speaker line up are members of the Varsity family who work hard year-round to find resources for each and every program.

Stephanie Ammiratti-Harrod
Stephanie Ammirati-Harrod is the National Director of Scoring and Judges for Varsity All Star. She serves on the Varsity All Star Scoring Committee, helping to create consistency for scoring and judges across the Varsity All Star Brands. She has also helped develop the Varsity All Star Scoring System since its inception 8 years ago that has now been adopted by most of the All Star industry. She has been a part of the All-Star Industry for almost 20 years. Stephanie is a former NCA Head Instructor who taught camps for 10+ years.  Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she was Captain of the Coed Cheer team.

Jamie Parrish
Jamie Parrish got started in cheer as a University of South Carolina cheerleader.  He was on NCA staff.  Owner of The Georgia All Stars, he won  hundreds of national titles over a 25 year span.  He was a 5 time worlds medalist, winning two Gold, two Silver, and a Bronze.  As a choreographer, Mr. Parrish has remained one of the most relevant choreographers in the industry by winning over 20 additional World’s medals as a choreographer for teams other than his own.  In the highly competitive Sr. Large Division, Mr. Parrish has captured 4 of the last 7 Gold medals with his choreography.  He placed over 300 athletes on college programs in his career.  He was a founding member of the NACCC, the first ever rules organization for the sport of All Star cheer.  He was USASF Coach of the year in 2010.  He was inducted into the USASF Hall of Fame in 2017. He now works as Director of Strategy for Varsity All Star.

Josh Quintero
“It’s JQ from D2”! Josh Quintero currently serves as the D2 Summit National Sales Director and NCA/UCA State Director for Oklahoma. He has been in the cheerleading and dance industry for 21 years and has been a gym owner for 15 years. He currently resides in Oklahoma where with his wife and 12 year old son.

Austin Seeley
Austin Seeley has been involved in the industry as a competitor, coach, and judge. He serves as the Judging and Scoring Manager for the Varsity All Star Louisville brands. Austin is very passionate about coaches education and loves having the opportunity to educate coaches and judges every weekend. Austin is part of the Varsity All Star Building Curriculum team for judges education. When not involved in cheerleading, he is traveling, visiting Disney parks and singing Beyoncé.

Damianne Albee
Damianne Albee has over 20 years experience in the all star industry as a coach, event producer and brand manager. Outside of cheerleading, she taught Special Education for 6 years in Charlotte – “Love of education brings a natural fit to be a part of the VU team.” Damianne is currently serving as the National Sales Director for The Summit and is transistioning to Senior Director of Varsity All Star.

Avery Watson
Avery Watson is from Fairfield, CT and has over 15 years of experience in the All Star Cheerleading Industry. Avery has spent the last 12 years working for The National Cheerleaders Association in various rolls such as Summer Camp Head Instructor, Speed and College Staffing Director, and Judging Coordinator. Avery is passionate about helping coaches and athletes develop their leadership abilities. Her goal is to encourage collaboration that will leave a lasting, positive impact in the cheerleading community.

Angi Dunham
Angi Dunham is a former gym owner and entrepreneur at heart. She owned a program in Missouri for 14 years, focusing on recreational classes, competitive teams, and full camp program. She is a former USASF Regional Director, panel judge, event producer, and national speaker focusing on junior instructors, mentoring coaches in business, and organic revenue growth. Currently she serves the coaches in the Central US as a Varsity Sales Advisor.

Tyler Phillips
Tyler Phillips started working in the Varsity Charlotte office in 2010 as the Director of Scoring and the Midwest Customer Service Representative for CHEERSPORT and Universal Spirit. For multiple years Tyler was the Camp Director and oversaw camp operations for CHEERSPORT’s Skills and Choreography Camps. In addition to being on the Varsity All Star Scoring Committee, he often serves as an Accuscore Official at many Varsity All Star brand events.

Sydney Gatti
Sydney has an extensive cheerleading background as a Gym Owner, Judge, and Coach. She was a member of the inaugural USASF Next Generation of Leaders program and also served multiple years on the USASF Southeast Regional Advisory Board. She is an advocate for education, development, and helping small gym owners run successful business practices across the Industry. Previously, she has spoken on Creating Culture within your Organization, Small Business Success, and Jr. Coaches Training. She currently works as a Varsity All Star Advisor covering Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
