Meet The First 21 Teams To Earn 400 Points To The League

That's a wrap for the first all star event weekend of the season! Teams took to the mat in San Antonio, Texas, this past Saturday to put on a show at the 2022 Cheer Power Halloween Challenge, compete for a bid to the end-of-season championship events, and for the first time ever, earn points to The League!

If this is your first time hearing about The League, get excited! The League is the official points system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final standing. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!

At the 2022 Cheer Power Halloween Challenge, teams were competing to earn up to 400 points for The League. The competition is over and now it's time to meet the 21 teams that made history by winning their respective divisions and earning their first 400 Points to The League this weekend at the 2022 Cheer Power Halloween Challenge!
