After four weeks of Level Legacy challenges, the overall winners have been announced and Aaliyah Adams-Mayfield took the top spot for level 4!

Aaliyah began to cheer and tumble at the age of 5. She started off with sideline cheer and two years later she entered the world of competitive cheerleading!

Aaliyah started with SYA Extreme and is still a part of their program today.

“My signature tumbling pass is a punch front step out, round off back handspring, whip double back handspring, back layout!” Aaliyah said. “I’m working on perfecting my roundoff Arabian, round off back handspring, whip, full twist.”

She also has many accomplishments from her cheerleading background. In her first year on the team in 2015, she won the jump competition at CheerStarz and that same year her team won the U.S. Finals.

Beginning in 2016, Aaliyah started to gain more confidence in her tumbling skills and also became a crossover competitor. Earlier this year she even won her first ever Tumble Stars individual competition at Maryland Madness!

“I competed on three teams in 2018. All 3 teams won first place at The One in Orlando!” -Aaliyah Adams-Mayfield

Aaliyah’s favorite subject in school is math! Fun facts about herself are that she does gymnastics, loves to dance, loves to make slime, and if she could be in the gym every day, she would! Also in 2014, Aaliyah and her dad published a children’s book called “Beauty Full.”

Now, Aaliyah has another accomplishment to add to her list. Congratulations to the Overall Level Legacy Challenge Winner for level 4!
