Let's End Childhood Cancer, One Step At A Time

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the team at Varsity Spirit and Varsity TV is taking a step to end childhood cancer — 6,400 steps, to be exact! The crew at Varsity TV signed up to take on a St. Jude Walk/Run this past weekend as they raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The ladies at Varsity TV traded in their cheer shoes for a pair of running shoes Saturday, September 16, in Austin, Texas.

The Austin Walk/Run had a great turnout and the participants raised an incredible $53,282!

Towns across the nation are lacing up for St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer to raise money for the kids of St. Jude, where families never receive a bill for their treatment. We encourage you to join in on all the fun! Find a St. Jude Walk/Run in your area!
