JetBlue Saves Nationals With Special Flights During Winter Storm!

A snow storm may have hit the northeast, but no worries…you can still expect to see the ‘NorthBeast’ well represented at NHSCC thanks to JetBlue Airways! 

One by one, flights started getting cancelled on Wednesday as the northeast area became a winter wonderland. While some teams had no choice but to make the trip to Orlando by bus, eleven teams made it to Disney after JetBlue added two late night flights just for these cheerleaders!

The lucky teams whose UCA Nationals trip was saved by these special flights were Clarke High School, Eastchester, Scarsdale Middle, Unity Prep, Mepham, Kennedy, Lindenhurst, West Haven, Pittston Area, Seaford, MacArthur, Sachem East, Centereach, West Babylon and Bellmore JFK.

These teams might have had a whirlwind start to their competition weekend but with a lot of luck and the help from the compassionate cheer-loving employees at JetBlue, they are ready for take off here at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship!

Cheer them on as they compete LIVE Saturday, February 10 – 11, 2017!
