Jersey Pride Is Ready To Put On A Show At Reach The Beach

Jersey Pride has attended Reach The Beach every year since 2007! 

Over the years, the northeast program has won numerous national championships at the event and this year they are bringing 10 of their 11 teams to compete for titles.

“We are excited to have our Tiny Novice team, Jersey Pride Starlettes, attend for the first time this year,” explained Jersey Pride Coach Lauryn Atkinson. “This will be this young team’s first experience at an overnight event.”

Jersey Pride’s Small Senior Level 5 team, Liberty, is sure to put on one of the most entertaining routines of the weekend. Liberty has a fun Miss America theme this season and their music takes you through a pageant and makes you feel like you are on stage in Atlantic City! 

“The team loves when the crowd screams “L- A-D-Y, Lady Liberty” in the opening of our pyramid and has so much fun during the dance section otherwise known as the ‘evening wear category.’”

The program’s favorite part about traveling to competitions is the support system the teams have built for each other and the memories they make throughout the entire weekend. 

“Reach the Beach has been an important event on our comp schedule every year and this year will be the last 2 day of the year for us as a program.”
