Insider Info: 2024 ACDA Reach The Beach Grand Nationals

The American Cheer & Dance Academy Reach the Beach & Dance Grand Nationals makes its way to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland, in 2024, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event. 

ACDA has been running events since 1991, and the organization has found a niche with its beach-themed “Reach the Beach” national competitions. 

Among the unique aspects of these events are Surfy the Spirit Shark, special awards and rewards, and vacation giveaways, all while focusing on fun and memories for competitors, coaches, and supporters. 

ACDA Reach the Beach Nationals & Dance Grand Nationals (dance and school) is one of three ACDA Reach the Beach events scheduled for Ocean City in 2024. 

The February 24-25 action also will feature a recreational component called ACDA Reach the Beach – Nationals (Rec).

What To Know About The Roland E. Powell Convention Center

The 2024 ACDA Reach the Beach Nationals & Dance Grand Nationals and ACDA Reach the Beach – Nationals (Rec) are headed to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. 

It might be February in Maryland, but there’s no doubt the ocean breeze and the beach music and décor will make it feel like summertime at the shore. 

The convention center offers more than 250,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space, used for a variety of events – car shows, concerts and entertainment, conventions – plus a new performing arts center that allows for even more variety.

The facility includes a main exhibit hall, ballroom, secondary exhibit hall, and meeting rooms.
