Everything You Need To Know About Game Day At NHSCC

The UCA Game Day Championship is back and bigger than ever this weekend at the 2020 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship!

The competition kicks off this Friday, and Day 1 is all about game day! Teams will bring their sideline traditions to Orlando, Florida, and showcase them center stage for a chance at a UCA National Championship title.

The Game Day competition will kick off bright and early at 8 AM ET and all Prelims, Semi-Finals, and Finals for the Game Day divisions will take place on Friday.

Last season, more than 400 teams competed across 17 different Game Day divisions for one spirited day of competition. In 2020, spirit squads will have the chance to compete in the brand new Game Day Live division!

Inspired by the sights and sounds of a school’s Friday-night football game, this new division takes the current Game Day Competition format – Band Chant, Situational Sideline, Crowd Leading and Fight Song – to the next level with LIVE MUSIC from your pep band.

Spring Station Middle School and Lakeview Centennial High School will make history as the first two teams to compete in Game Day Live! Tune in to Varsity TV at 3:15 PM ET in the Visa Athletic Center to watch their performances LIVE!
