Our goals will always be to hit a clean routine in front of the castle.

Get ready Orlando…ELDO is focused and ready to repeat for a FOURpeat! El Dorado High School is heading to UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship as the three-time back-to-back defending Small Varsity Division I National Champions.

This team went into the season with a different training approach than years past. During pre-season, they emphasized on strength. Shortly after tryouts, they started attending Crossfit Lumberyard twice a week. Crossfit has not only helped with their over-all strength, but agility training, flexibility, and conditioning as well. They found a positive result from Crossfit training with much fewer injuries that Head Coach, Katie Bowers, believes coincides directly with being stronger both mentally and physically.

In addition to physical and mental training, Eldo pushed their tumbling to the next level this year. You can expect to see strong results with combo tumbling passes, double jumps to tuck, and fulls throughout the routine.

Head Coach, Katie Bowers, told us more about this year’s season.

This year our team motto is to Focus for Four. We understand that skill alone cannot win another championship, that it takes focus on and off the mat to succeed.

This team year’s team consist of a unique dynamic. Five out of the Twelve girls that will be competing have been on the team for the last three years. With an undefeated career at NHSCC, these five seniors are hoping to add one more white jacket to their collections! ELDO also has twins on the team and their younger sister is on the mat! This sister relationship has brought a different dynamic to the team that they haven’t had in years past!
