Deer Creek Steals The Show At NCA Nationals

Day one at the 2018 NCA Senior & Junior High School National Championship has been filled with memorable performances and top talent. The Advanced Junior High/Middle School division was no exception.

Deer Creek Middle School was the first team to take the mat in the competitive division. The Antlers set the bar high with their impressive stunt sequence and took it up another notch with their strong tumbling technique —both of which are two of the most difficult sections in a routine.

Deer Creek also came ready to put on a show after being inspired by one of their hometown heroes, the most recent winner of America's Got Talent. Deer Creek coaches explained,

"We are so proud of our town member winning the such a prestigious show, that we were inspired to take the opportunity to also put on a show of our own."

The team did just that and added their own unique twist, a little pink pizazz and pop of color in their poms and bows!

Make sure to tune in tomorrow to the Varsity TV live stream to see the Deer Creek Antlers build on an amazing Day 1 performance in the final day of competition at the 2018 NCA Senior & Junior High School National Championship.
