Corbin High School Excites The Crowd At UCA Bluegrass

School spirit is in their air here at the UCA Bluegrass Championship and teams have kept the crowd engaged all day long with their dynamic cheers. One of today’s crowd-favorite cheers came from the Hounds of Corbin High School.

The eastern Kentucky team had the entire arena yelling loud as they opened the cheer portion of their routine with low to high full arounds and big signs saying ‘We Are Corbin’.

With big smiles and lots of spirit, they transitioned into single base stunts and shoulder stands to yell their iconic chant ‘Who? Who? The Hounds!’

Led by nine seniors, the medium varsity Dll squad put on a strong performance that impressed cheer fans here in the bluegrass state. Corbin Cheer Head Coach, Shonya O’Neill said her girls really enjoy their routine this season and have fun performing it to the crowd.

Assistant coach Bryce Luther told Varsity TV he is equally impressed with the hard work the team has put in so far this season saying,

This is the most talented Corbin team we’ve ever had.

It may be the first competition of the year, but after today’s performance the ladies of Corbin High School showed they are ready to take on the season.
