Coming Soon: Varsity Spirit Virtual Game Day Kick-Off

We are excited to announce the first-ever Varsity Spirit Virtual Game Day Kick-Off! This fall, cheer & dance teams will have the opportunity to virtually showcase their skills and see where their spirit matches up against other teams from across the country.

Who: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior High cheerleading and dance teams

Cheer Categories: Band Chant, Crowd Leading, and Fight Song

Dance Categories: Fight Song, Spirit Raising Performance, and Performance Routine

Virtual Event Timeline:

Registration Opens: Wednesday, September 2nd
Registration Closes: Wednesday, September 23rd
Videos Are Live On VTV: Saturday, October 3rd at 9 AM CT
Results Announced: Saturday, October 3rd at 4 PM CT

How The Virtual Competition Works

Cheer and dance teams will record their performances from their own schools and upload them directly to Varsity TV to be scored by an experienced Varsity Spirit judging panel.

Videos can be from this fall or your 2020 Varsity Spirit Summer Camp. If your school can’t build stunts because of your current social distancing guidelines, we also have Non-Building Divisions available!

Results will be announced right here on Varsity TV and winners will be featured on varsity.com!
