Blackman Goes Back-To-Back In 2018

Blackman High School out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee competed to defend their title in the Small Varsity Coed division today at the 2018 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. 13 teams made it to Finals and Blackman took the top spot as back-to-back national champions!

Congratulations Blackman Blaze!

Blackman has faced many obstacles this season with the most recent taking place the night before the championship. The Blaze had to put in a new team member on Friday night, but they came together and allowed nothing to stop their climb to the top!

“This team has heart, soul and mind.” Said Blackman Coach Amber McKeller. “To push through and go out there and do what we did on Saturday at NHSCC was just incredible to witness!”

With their big win in 2018, Blackman can now add number six to their trophy case!
