Bishop McCort: Ready To CRUSH It At NHSCC!

Bishop McCort feels confident to CRUSH their performance at 2018 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship! The Crushers are excited to travel to Orlando, Florida, from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with a big goal: leave it all on the mat with no regrets and bring home a sacred white jacket.

The Crushers know what it takes to end up on top. In 2010 and again in 2015 they brought home the gold and white jackets! 2018 is looking bright for the Crushers! They started off the new year with a huge win in the PA State Cheerleading Championship.

Their head coach, Dr. John Walker, shared that the team's theme for the year is to "Be the G.O.A.T. – Greatest Of All Time."

"Our goal is to make our finals performance just that."

Bishop McCort plans to stand out in the Large Varsity DII division with a lot of unique elements. This year you'll see the Crushers perform genie sits, a lot of spinning skills, a visual and difficult ending pyramid, and of course their signature Crush cheer.

This team is extremely close and works very well together on and off the mat. In addition to being great athletes, they maintain a 3.5 GPA and complete over 1,200 hours of community service throughout the year. Earlier in the season, they rallied and pulled their entire community together to help hurricane victims in Texas.

The Crushers are coming with their game faces on and are ready to bring down the arena with an amazing performance. Watch them compete in prelims LIVE in the Visa Athletic Center on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 1:12 PM.
