Beyond The Routine: CJA Bombshells Series Details

The Central Jersey All Stars Bombshells have always been a crowd favorite in the Senior XSmall division, but in 2021 they took on Senior Open! For the first time in history, the NCA All-Star National Championship turned virtual for the health and safety of athletes around the country due to COVID-19, but that didn't stop Bombshells from striving for a goal they had in mind. 

Varsity TV's newest documentary, Beyond The Routine: CJA Bombshells, follows the team through their 2021 NCA All-Star Virtual National Championship experience! The competition is known for it's flashy lights, roaring crowds, and loud music. The NCA All-Star atmosphere is unmatchable, but with the competition going virtual, will the team struggle to perform their best or will they rise to the occasion? 

In Episode 1, we meet some of the people who make up the Bombshells! Coaches Gina, Sefa, Pam, and Gym Owner & Coach Patty Ann give us an insight into what being a Bombshells really means. Bombshell athletes Victoria, Oderaa, Emma, & Carmela give their inside perspective to what it takes to be a part of this renowned team!

The teams hits the practice floor one last time before taking their shot at an NCA All-Star National Title in the Senior Open division for the very first time. Will the team head into competition day with positive vibes, or will there be any bumps in the road that ultimately set them back?

In Episode 2, we get to know more about athlete Victoria and what makes her the person she is today. Victoria has been through a set of rough times in her life, but she has always used cheer at CJA as her outlet. Victoria and her mom tell their story and what makes their bond so strong today.

Bombshells get together for one last moment as a team before hitting the competition stage. We get a glimpse of how much this team means to each athlete and coach!

In Episode 3, it's go time! The team arrives at the gym ready to put all of their hard work to the test. With all COVID-19 safety precautions in place, parents, friends, and family begin to fill the gym to help bring the NCA All-Star atmosphere to the athletes. 

The team takes the floor, the coaches push play, and what happens next might not be what you're expecting. Is it a one-and-done for Bombshells, or will the team have to overcome some adversity along the way?

In Episode 4, we take you behind the scenes of what really happened after Bombshells came off the floor and what's next for them!
