"Here on Iowa Central dance team, our motto has always been 'Persistence, Passion, Pride' and I think that this team has embodied these characteristics exceptionally!" said assistant coach Stephanie Hood. "I feel that we have a true team of competitors. They show up every day humble enough to take every critique and do what is best for the team, regardless of their role on the team. They are incredibly selfless teammates and genuinely hard workers. As a team, our goals were to enhance our endurance, persevere through all of our trials from covid, remain competitive in our categories at the state and national levels, and keep our family dynamic!"

"This year was truly a sink or swim test," said Hood. "Their ability to attack every problem with teamwork, grace, and poise has been astonishing and inspiring to say the least! As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of our team! We want to go out there and win a national title, but whether we win or lose, we will always be so proud of our girls!"
