70+ Teams To Take Part In First UDA Game Day Championship!

Four new game day divisions have been added to the 2019 UDA National Dance Team Championship and teams are ready to show their spirit in Orlando!

The UDA Game Day Championship was created as a way for teams to showcase and compete with elements they are doing at their schools and in their communities all season long.

High School and Junior High dance teams will be judged on three different sections: Fight Song, Spirit Raising Performance, and a Performance Routine. All must be completed within a total time of three minutes.

This year, there are titles up for grabs in four separate game day divisions. Teams will share their spirited traditions in Junior High, Junior Varsity, Small Varsity and Large Varsity Game Day.

Teams will be listening for audio cues to tell them the order of the different sections. This allows for authenticity like an actual game day! Be on the lookout for tradition through the fight song, appropriate energy during the spirit-raising performance and strong dynamics in the performance routine.
